Verein Multikulturell is a non-governmental non-profit organization founded in 1993. The organization’s main objectives are to promote professional, social and cultural inclusion of migrants and it aims to enhance intercultural dialogue and education.
The organization’s activities are organized in close collaboration with international and national partners, like e.g. the Tyrolean Government and other State institutions, Chamber of Commerce, job centers, schools and other providers of education, as well as different civil organizations and networks. Verein Multikulturell budgetary resources are provided by the regional government of Tyrol, Austrian government program as well as by European programs and funds (e.g. 2019 mainly Erasmus+, ESF, AMIF and CHAFEA).
For several years VM has been involved in a variety of projects (LLL, Daphne, Leornardo; Erasmus+ KA1, KA2, KA3; AMIF; ESF;). It has gained experience in designing and leading national and international projects and taking up the role of an active and motivated transnational project partner.
VM is accredited for EVS – European Voluntary Services and affiliated to following networks: Tirolean Initiative for Culture (IG Kultur Tirol), Austrian Initiative for Culture (IG Kultur Österreich), Social Network Tirol, Integrationsforum Tirol, ANAR – Austrian Network against Racism, European Multicultural Foundation.
Our institution has also volunteering programs for migrants. The innovative idea of “ARTEM” is for Verein Multikulturell very interesting. So we joined the consortium as we are planning to involve this method into our current programs too.www.migration.cc
CESIE is a European Centre of Studies and Initiatives based in Palermo, Sicily. It was established in 2001, inspired by the work and theories of the sociologist, activist and educator Danilo Dolci (1924-1997).

ALDA, Association of Local Democracy, is a non-profit association founded by initiative of the Congress of the Council of Europe in 1999, whose main goal is the promotion of good governance and citizen participation at a local level. ALDA is a membership-based organisation gathering more than 300 members (including local democracy agencies, local authorities, association of local authorities, civil society organizations, universities, NGOs, grassroots associations and public bodies) based in 42 countries over most of Europe and the European Neighbourhood countries.
In 1999, ALDA was created to coordinate and support the network of Local Democracy Agencies, which are self-sustainable, locally registered NGOs acting as promoters of good governance and local self government. Today, ALDA is a key stakeholder in the field of local democracy, active citizenship, good governance, EU integration, human rights, and cooperation between local authorities and civil society. Most of ALDA’s work is based on the method of multilateral decentralized cooperation. This involves a multi-stakeholder approach which focuses on strong partnerships between Local Authorities and non-governmental organisations. Symplexis is a Greek non-for-profit organization that strives to ensure equal opportunities for all through actions and measures that build skills, empower and promote active engagement and participation focusing on the most vulnerable categories of the population and particularly those with fewer opportunities. Mozaik is a non-profit that was established in 2010 in Samsun located in northern part of Turkey. The main objective of the its establishment is to support cultural, professional and social integration of disadvantaged groups consisting of migrants and refugees, women and people with disabilities. The target group that is involved in our activities (local, regional and international initiatives/projects) consist of the ones who have no model to be able to recognize vocational and educational opportunities and need orientation to be successful in the educational and professional life eliminating barriers in different fields that prevent their integration into the society.mozaik.org.tr
